Welcome to MFK Culinary Studio – a unique space created for the busy executive, urban professional, or passionate home cook who finds joy in preparing meals at home and hosting gatherings that delight guests. If you're someone who’s curious about global cuisines, loves developing flavour profiles, and is eager to learn the hows and whys behind great cooking – this is your studio.  To learn.  To practice.  To hone your mastery.
This is not a culinary programme for professional qualifications or those looking to pursue a culinary arts career. This is for individuals who want to elevate their home cooking for personal enjoyment and entertaining.
We cater to those who:
  • Aspire to enhance culinary skills for hosting and everyday meals
  • Are curious about techniques used by restaurant chefs to recreate global flavour profiles
  • Love cooking and want to grow their skills in a fun, hands-on way

The Culinary Studio MFK faculty is a dynamic collective of chefs and food industry professionals who bring a blend of international training, local heritage, and real-world culinary experience to the table. Each faculty member is carefully selected not only for their technical skill in cooking, baking, and kitchen management, but also for their ability to teach and inspire. With backgrounds ranging from restaurant consultancy and menu development to pastry arts and global cuisines, the team offers participants a rich, hands-on learning experience grounded in both theory and practice.

No prior cooking experience required

  5. Choose from more than 20 classes from half-day classes to full-blown five day courses, all taught by special-select MFK Studio Chefs.

You’ll get plenty of hands-on time to perfect your cooking skills, and to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour with a delicious meal at the chef’s table at the end of the class.  Our cooking lessons are designed to be informative and hands-on, but are easy-going enough that you’ll have fun while you learn.   Our chefs will demonstrate techniques and cook with your group, offering suggestions for substitutions, quick fixes in case something goes wrong, and fun anecdotes along the way.

Option #1:  FORM YOUR OWN CLASS

  1. Gather your own group of ten friends, bridal parties or work-colleagues or your formal corporate bonding programmes or your spouse, one month before the scheduled date;
  2. Form your own class, select a date that works for the team, book with us, and;
  3. Complete your payment two weeks before the class start date.
  4. Your booking date is confirmed on payment.

Option #2:  SELECT FROM PRE-SET DATES
​
  1. Select from pre-set dates set by the culinary education team (lookout for our flflyers).
  2. Visit our premises and observe us in operation.
  3. Complete your payment two weeks before the class start date.
  4. Your booking for our programmes is confirmed on payment.
  5. You will join others who have selected the same date as you.  In the event of sessions that do not make up ten participants, the MFK office will reach you for the next available date for the module.
