Enjoy everybody’s favorite MFK signature pound cakes.

​Baked with farm-fresh eggs, real butter, real cane sugar it is filled with our rich butter-cream icing.  My Farmhouse Kitchen's pound cake is simply too good to enjoy alone.  Serves: 12-15 


Dense and delicate at the same time, a pound cake refers to cakes traditionally made with a pound each of the four main ingredients: flour, butter, eggs and sugar.

​As our buttery cakes bake to perfection in the oven, with the top baked to a rich golden colour, the tantalizing aroma of the cakes fills both our kitchen and the neighbor-hood. In your hands, the cake gently crumbles while the flavors dance around in your mouth.  A sensory-filled experience each time.  Every time.

Vanilla Pound Cake

There are numerous variations on the traditional pound cake, with certain countries and regions having distinctive styles.  These can include the addition of flavouring agents (such as vanilla extract or almond extract) or dried fruit (such as currants or dried cranberries), as well as alterations to the original recipe to change the characteristics of the resulting pound cake.

Chocolate Pound Cake

This handy freezer-friendly chocolate cake is your licence to chill and thrill!  We love a buttery and dense pound cake, but we thought a chocolate version would be even better so we folded lots of dark cocoa into the batter to give it a deep chocolate flavor.  This moist, rich, yet lightly textured cake makes a great hostess gift or is right at home on a holiday dessert table.  Look out for our Yule Logs debuting this Christmas!  See image below.

Red Velvet Cake

Red Velvet cake is traditionally a red, red-brown, or "mahogany" colored layer cake, layered with white cream cheese icing . It has a distinctive fluffy texture owing to the gas-producing reaction of alkaline buttermilk with acidic vinegar and/or acidic non-alkalized cocoa.  The cake is commonly served on Christmas or Valentine's Day.    Look out for our Yule Logs debuting this Christmas!  See image below.

To decide on the size of the cake, decide on the number of servings you need.  Click here to help you decide.

Order two weeks ahead of collection date.  To avoid disappointment for now and in line as we expand, priority booking to first four clients weekly:  First Come First Served.

You can drop your order here.  Orders for fondant cakes, should reach us a month before collection.  A quote and details of payment methods will be sent to you within two days.  All payments to complete ten (10) days before collection.
