step 1:   PICK YOUR MODULE from our "learn to cook" series

Beginners:  Learn to Cook Essential Skills Part I series - led by Chef Kunta
REGISTRATION FOR THIS COURSE IS NOW OPEN. WILL ONLY TAKE MAXIMUM OF 10 STUDENTS.

AIM:  This course is aimed at those who are new to the kitchen or simply underconfident in their cooking abilities.

SCOPE:  The course gives you tools to understand & enables you to go about preparing food that is simple to prepare yet full of flavour.  
The goal is to eventually become fully self-reliant and to offer The Studio participants an opportunity to harvest fresh herbs like lemongrass, chili, basil, and corriander.

TOPICS COVERED:  Classes cover basic cooking techniques i.e. Roasting, Stir Frying, Grilling, and Sautéeing together with basic hygiene & basic table layout.  All you need is interest and motivation to learn. The rest is easy!


TARGET:  This course is suitable for cooking enthusiasts, housewives, housekeepers, would-be caterers, beginners or newly weds, students going away to university or as part of corporate team-building activities, etc..  ALL ARE WELCOME!

TAKEAWAYS:  That all attending will receive a 40-page cooking manual, and a certificate when completing this course.  The food cooked during each class will be taken home.

Option #1: 
  1. Gather your own group of ten friends, bridal parties or work-colleagues or your formal corporate bonding programmes or your spouse, one month before the scheduled date;
  2. Form your own class, select a scheduled date, book with us, and;
  3. Complete your payment two weeks before the class start date.
  4. Your booking date is confirmed on payment.

Option #2:
  1. Select from pre-set dates set by the culinary education team.
  2. Visit our premises and observe us in operation.
  3. Complete your payment two weeks before the class start date.
  4. Your booking for our programmes is confirmed on payment.
  5. You will join others who have selected the same date as you.  In the event of sessions that do not make up ten participants, the MFK office will reach you for the next available date for the module.

If you do contact us after the 1 hour period, if we have not dug your plants we will be glad to change the items or give an in-store credit for the full amount. No refunds after the 1 hour period.
